Die Wii U Version von Project CARS soll laut neuen Angaben von Slightly Mad Studios noch in diesem Jahr veröffentlicht werden. Zuvor sollen aber die Versionen für den PC, die Xbox One sowie die PlayStation 4 umgesetzt werden. Zuletzt wurde Project CARS erneut verschoben und soll jetzt im Mai diesen Jahres erscheinen. Grund für die Verschiebungen der letzten Monate soll der Umfang des Spiels sein.

Laut der FAQ Seite wird es wohl auch diverse DLCs geben die man nach der Veröffentlichung von Project CARS kostenpflichtig anbieten wird.
