In dieser Woche erwartet uns offiziellen Angaben zufolge der Start von Steamworld Dig für die Wii U. Der Titel der bereits seit einiger zeit für andere Plattformen sowie den Nintendo 3DS erhältlich ist, wird zum Start auf der Wii U mit einer Cross-Buy Promotion angeboten. Käufer der 3DS-Version erhalten einen 25 Prozent Preisnachlass auf die Wii U Version.

Die Promotion wird ausschließlich in Europa, Australien und Neuseeland angeboten, da Nintendo of America scheinbar kein passendes System besitzt.

Steamworld Dig erscheint am 28. August zu einem Preis von 8,99 Euro im Wii U eShop.
