In Japan konnte Square Enix mit Dragon Quest X für die Wii bereits einige Erfolge feiern. Kurz nach der Veröffentlichung der Wii Version des Spiels gab man bekannt, dass man auch eine Version des Spiels speziell für die Wii U erstellen wird. Mehr Infos zur Wii U Version von Dragon Quest X gab Square Enix bislang aber noch nicht bekannt. Laut einer aktuellen Pressemitteilung des Publishers, wird man bereits demnächst das Schweigen bezüglich der Wii U Version des Titels brechen.

Derzeit kann man davon ausgehen, dass Square Enix die Wii U Version von Dragon Quest X mit HD Grafiken ausstatten wird und darüber hinaus diverse Miiverse Features in das Spiel integrieren wird. Ob die Unterschiede in den Versionen weitgreifender sind als derzeit angenommen, bleibt aktuell noch abzuwarten. Wir halten euch natürlich auf dem laufenden.
