Das NFC-Feature des Wii U GamePad’s kam bisher nicht wirklich oft zum Einsatz. Erste Schritte in Richtung NFC machte Nintendo zuletzt mit dem Wii U eShop Titel Pokémon Rumble U zu dem zumindest in Japan passende NFC-Figuren vertrieben wurden. Wie es mit der Technologie nun weitergeht, werden wir scheinbar auf der diesjährigen E3 erfahren, dort möchte Nintendo nämlich neue Spiele präsentieren, die in Verbindung mit NFC aufgebaut wurden.

We will showcase our detailed propositions for utilizing the NFC functionality at E3 in Los Angeles in June.“
